Our customer had developed a new and highly innovative hydraulic actuator which was aiming towards new applications yet not served by the company. We conducted an intense screening of the new application market deriving demand structures, volumes, competitor positioning and market development. Along we interviewed ca. 60 potential customers which were yet not known to the company and thus initiated a jump start of the product in this application market
